| Beans are
poured into the roaster at the top hopper and are funnelled through to the
roasting drum.
|
Through out
the roasting process a sample of the beans is checked for colour and
texture. When the beans are roasted the natural oils begin to show and a
wisp of white smoke/vapour can be seen rising from the beans.

| After 15-20mins the beans are completely roasted. They are poured out of the roaster on to an air cooled plate which cools the beans down and stops the cooking process. | The beans are collected in bins ready for packing. |
